Once deployed, Scouts behave as normal martians but with the following special abilities:\n\nScouts may move 2 spaces per turn.\nThe Scout's Ray Gun always hits on 3+.\nScouts ignore any wound on a roll of 4+ (except those from fire or explosives).\nScouts do not count as a Martian Pack when rolling for reinforcements.\n\nThe back side of the rules supplement contains a new scenario \"The Beacon\" in which the Martian player attempts to secure three buildings and install homing devices in them.
