This card was originally created as "Ring of Gerd" for Alan Gerding as part of an elaborate wedding proposition, and was later adapted for public distribution. From the card: " Ring of Life Cost: 4 Runes to acquire Lifebound Construct Once per turn, if you have played a Lifebound Hero, gain one Rune. When Ring of Life enters play, choose a faction. Your heroes of that faction are also Lifebound Heroes. "
